Superbooth in Berlin… France & The UK

Componental in Denmark are makers of the quadrophonic, customizable, open-source audio effect and synthesizer known as Dubby. They’ve invited me to talk about my work and showcase what I do with their device at Superbooth ‘26 in Berlin. Join me there on Fri May 8 at 1pm, and again on Sat May 9 at 4pm, and we’ll make some beautiful noise together!
Over the three weeks that follow, I’ll be in France and the UK. Track my adventures on Instagram, Facebook, or BlueSky to stay in tune.
New permanent installation at Nashville Musicians’ Hall of Fame & Museum

You’ve probably already heard me hype my installations at The GRAMMY Museum LA’s new Sonic Playground exhibit, but what I haven’t mentioned is that
A) I’ve upgraded The Vocal Booth installation twice, including content paired with the new Selena exhibit, and
B) I’ve recently installed a new and improved version of it at The Musician’s Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville, TN.
In fact, not only has The MHoF in Nashville added this new interactive, but their entire GRAMMY Gallery has just been totally revamped! If you’re anywhere near Nashville, consider checking out their marvelous collection of historical musical artifacts, and taking a moment to play with one of my latest creations!
Polyverse profile
Polyverse’s excellent plugin Manipulator is heavily featured in The Vocal Booth installations mentioned above in LA and Nashville. Click through to read about how Manipulator fits in, and enjoy a slew of videos and photos of the LA exhibit on their new Vocal Booth / Sonic Playground profile.
Live at Okeechobee video

I had a blast installing my Syncomasher jambox for attendees of the Okeechobee Festival. I performed three times on the mobile Wander Wagon stage and played opening sets for my friends, The All You Can Eat Orchestra in The “T-Lounge”. Big thanks to my pal Sweater Disco who was very kind to capture and edit one of the Wander Wagon moments via video (below). More thanks also go to the massively fantastic fantastic art-team at Okeechobee and the Wander Wagon crew. Thank you for making my experience there so magical!
The Syncomasher now based in Charlotte, NC
One of my oldest, most beloved, and most complex jamboxes ever, The Syncomasher just appeared at a run of temporary installs including the aforementioned Okeechobee Fest, Wildflowers Festival of Music & Dance, Emergence Burn, and Camp Kouch. It now lives on, permanently owned and operated by Citron in Charlotte, NC where it will be a regular feature at his The Happening event series. Check out a few short videos below from Emergence, posted on IG by Syncomasher technician extraordinaire Grant Hill.

Lost video: upgrade for The Music Mill at Meow Wolf Las Vegas
I mentioned this upgrade in a previous newsletter but totally forgot I shot a little video of the tech before I sent it off to Las Vegas. Watch me get geeky with some custom steel panels, printed circuit boards, and blinky bash-buttons!
Oh, also, this summer I’ll be in residence in Taos, NM and Bowdoin, ME before making a return to Black Rock City, NV (Burning Man). If you’re in any of those locales, don’t be a stranger.
Stay safe, be kind, make excellent things, and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine!
Thanks, as always, for supporting what I do!
Much love,
Moldover
(!)
